Accounts Payable Assistant
- Permanent - Runcorn - £25k to £26k

**About Our Client**:
Our client is a leading organisation in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. With over 500 employees, they are committed to providing sustainable energy solutions and have a strong presence in the UK market, particularly in Liverpool.
- Process invoices and ensure payments are made in a timely manner
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Maintain vendor files and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Manage petty cash transactions
- Assist with month-end closing
- Produce monthly reports and assist with audits
- Maintain confidentiality of organisational information

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful 'Accounts Payable' should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulatory standards
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
