**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Ensure high-quality food and excellent customer service
- Supervise staff and provide training as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the restaurant industry, including bartending, cooking, or hospitality roles
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations
- Leadership qualities to drive success in a fast-paced environment

- To ensure and check back that all relevant training documents are included in the team members ‘p’ file.

- To help maximise team performance through managing, engaging, encouraging and coaching team members.

Problem Solving & Judgement
- To be accountable for decision making in the restaurant when managing the shift or opening the restaurant in the morning.
- Be accountable for the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager or another Front of House (FOH) Manager.

Transparency
- To minimise misunderstandings by ensuring that all messages are communicated clearly and are understood by guests and colleagues.
- To pro-actively inform the General Manager of under performers within the team.
- To encourage a culture of **transparency **within your business

General:

- To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
- To adhere to dress, equipment and personal hygiene standards at all times.
- To attend work when required by checking the rota on a regular basis.
- To adhere to Health & Safety, Fire, Food Safety and licensing regulations at all times.
- To notify the manager on duty of any accidents.
- To continuously improve the **quality **of the restaurant’s operating standards
