**Mason Pinder Toolmakers - Part of Polypipe Building Products** are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join the team based at our site in Thorne, Doncaster.

**The role**:To receive, handle, despatch goods and other inventory in stores and across site, also additional basic factory tasks.

**Working hours**: Monday - Friday, 8:00am until 4:00pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Stock and stores control
- Progress all relevant paperwork inbound & outbound
- Raise Purchase orders
- Safekeeping of goods
- General site task, i.e. welfare facilities stocked, canteen stocked
- Adhere to H&S regulations & procedures
- Carry out manual handing tasks
- Polypipe procedures/processes are adhered to
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment to a high standard of housekeeping
- Positive work ethic
- Commitment and reliability
- Work on own initiative

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Previous experience within a Stores environment is desirable
- A good understanding of mechanical principles including some knowledge of conventional machines, Lathes, Milling, Grinders is desirable
- Computer literate
- Excellent timekeeping
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
