**About Us**:
St. Vincent’s Hospice (the little hospice with the big heart) has been supporting people and their families, living in Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire, who are affected by life limiting illness, for the last 35 years. We are a small hospice, but with big ambitions. - We are seeking a diligent and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team and help us manage our financial operations.
**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare and process invoices and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Manage payroll processes.
- Assist with budget management and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with our finance team to support financial operations.
- To provide support during periods of annual leave, absence and fluctuating workload to members of the general Administration & Reception teams as required
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Xero desirable, but training will be given) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
- Good communication skills.

**Working Hours**:
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, pro-rata.
