Job Summary:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our product quality. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and audits throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to excellence will contribute to our continuous improvement efforts and the overall success of our organization.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform thorough inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Utilize various inspection tools, equipment, and techniques to evaluate product dimensions, functionality, and performance.

Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects, damages, or non-conformities, and document findings accurately.

Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, provide feedback, and suggest corrective actions to prevent defects and improve processes.

Monitor and enforce adherence to quality control procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Review and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings to verify product conformance.

Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation.

Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and resolve quality issues.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, including ISO standards.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality control.

Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality control role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, inspection methods, and statistical process control techniques.

Proficient in using various measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

Familiarity with reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions based on quality guidelines and standards.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey inspection results and recommendations.

Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
This position is based in Larkhall and may require occasional travel to customer sites or other company locations.

The role operates within a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial elements.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required to meet business needs.
