QRS Improve are a growing home maintenance, renovation and improvement (including lofts and extensions) company operating in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas, including North London.

As a growing company with lots of work we require multi skilled tradespeople to work on our residential projects. This can include small home maintenance and repair work to full home refurbishments, loft conversions and extensions.

We're seeking skilled painters and decorators to work on a variety of home maintenance and improvement projects. The work is varied and interesting, giving you the satisfaction of helping improve homeowners' properties. One week you may be refreshing a lounge, and the next you may be decorating a new loft and extension. Consequently, we're seeking individuals that are keen to have varied work and can be adaptable.

You should be comfortable using a variety of materials, working with a brush, roller and/or sprayer, as well as prep and masking work and working on walls/ceilings and woodwork.

Experience of wallpaper hanging and/or plastering and/or exterior paint work would be an advantage for a more senior position/higher day rate.

We're looking for people that are comfortable working in homeowners' properties, and are consequently professional and reliable, and able to work in a tidy and clean fashion, and ultimately take pride in their work.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, and the day rate is based on 8 hour shifts during the working day. There is also the potential for optional extra weekend work.

Full time, part-time, Employed and self-employed opportunities are available - We are interested in people that want to work on a self-employed basis, either on a day-rate or priced work. We are also interested in people that want a permanent position on a PAYE basis, which comes with holiday, pension and profit sharing benefits.

We are happy to consider people that want a couple of days work a week or full-time work.

Competitive rates of pay (dependant on experience and skills).
