I am 99 years old and am currently in hospital but would love to get home in time for 100th birthday

in July. I am looking for a team of Personal Assistants who will support me with 4 times daily, double
- up visits - my package of care will most likely need to be split between private carers and Social

Work managed given the number of hours/visits.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**

**Morning - 2 carers for 45 minutes at around 9am**
- Please come in to assist me with washing and dressing - I am bedbound so will need to be

manoeuvred around the bed to enable you to do so although please encourage me to do as

much for myself as possible.
- Please offer me my bedpan should I wish to move my bowels.
- Please give me a bed bath whilst checking my pressure areas and skin folds for sores and

skin integrity.
- I have prescribed creams that need to be applied once dried and need to be wearing any

continence aids before you get me dressed.
- Please prompt me to take my medication and assist with eye drops.
- Please prepare me my breakfast and a hot drink of choice.
- Finally, please ensure I have my alarm or phone to hand should I need to call on someone

and make sure I have everything I need before leaving.

**Lunchtime - 2 carers for 30 minutes at around 12:30pm**
- Please come in and offer me use of my bedpan should I wish to move my bowels.
- Please change my continence aids, ensuring I am adequately cleaned and dried before
- Please check my pressure areas and skin folds for sores and skin integrity.
- Please support with a position change to try to ensure new sores do not develop.
- Please prepare me some lunch and a hot drink of choice.
- Please prompt me to take my medication and assist with eye drops.
- Finally, please ensure I have my alarm or phone to hand should I need to call on someone

and make sure I have everything I need before leaving.

**Teatime - 2 carers for 30 minutes at around 17:00pm**
- Please come in and offer me use of my bedpan should I wish to move my bowels.
- Please change my continence aids, ensuring I am adequately cleaned and dried before
- Please check my pressure areas and skin folds for sores and skin integrity.
- Please support me with a position change to try to ensure new sores do not develop.
- Please prepare me my evening meal and a hot drink of choice.
- Please prompt me to take my medication and assist with eye drops.
- Finally, please ensure I have my alarm or phone to hand should I need to call on someone

and make sure I have everything I need before leaving.

**Bedtime - 2 carers for 30 minutes at around 20:00pm**
- Please come in and offer me use of my bedpan should I wish to move my bowels before bed.
- Please change my continence aids, ensuring I am adequately cleaned and dried before

help me into my nightwear.
- Please offer me a hot drink and prompt my medication along with assisting with my eye

drops.
- Finally, please ensure I have my alarm or phone to hand should I need to call on someone

and make sure I have everything I need before leaving.

**Hours of work**
- Visits are as above with flexibility around visit times to suit the team.
- Visits are required 7 days a week but hopefully we will be able to share some of the hours

with a provider.

**The terms**
- £12.00 per hour.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave calculated on a pro-rata basis.
