An exciting secondment/fixed term opportunity has arisen for band 6 nurses to undertake a new role supporting the training of our HCA workforce.

You will report to the clinical improvement team responding to the clinical need; contributing to the design, delivery and evaluation of education and training.

Your work will support clinical improvement, contributing to the delivery of high quality care by both practical and theoretical teaching.

In collaboration with other members of the Clinical Practice Educators Team within the academy and the Quality improvement team, the post holder will provide clinical support, education and supervisions for Health Care Assistants (HCA) across the organisation.

The post holder will assist in providing a professional and responsive service which is inclusive of all relevant staff members and will promote safety and equality of opportunity for all new nursing staff as they integrate into the Trust.

The is a requirement to work cross shifts which would be reflective of the working patterns of the workforce, thus allowing for maximum benefit of each supervisory episode.
