Key responsibilities:

- To be health and safety conscious and promote safe working attitude.
- To coach and familiarise new joiners to the department after initial training to the required standard.
- To react positively to last minute changes.
- To liaise with Ramp Trainers on individual needs/training requirements.
- Co-ordinate Ramp operation in order to contribute successfully to DHL operations.
- Prioritise workload of self and others.
- Support DHL core operations, as required
- Contribute to On Time Performance of the DHL Network.
- Understanding of equipment that is used in operation.
- Completion of Band 1 to 2 training, as required.
- To facilitate EOS meetings when required
- Provide support and cover for supervisor.
- All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.

**You’ll bring to this role**:

- Sound knowledge of DHL Ramp operations.
- Able to communicate at all levels.
- A good understanding of aircraft handling procedures (GAPS and Global SOP).(training will be provided)
- Ability to lead staff to ensure optimal working atmosphere and employee engagement.
- Ability to coach trainees of all levels and adjust to individual needs.
- Calm methodical approach.
- Highly self-motivated and able to motivate others.
- Interacting with people and good team work.
- Computer literate.
- Must meet criteria for issue of an Airside Pass and must hold a full driving licence (B1)
- DHL Operational Network knowledge 2 years preferred
- Have a knowledge of EOS and its importance to the business and CIS/CIM
- A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
