Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of meal preparation and food safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Help with cooking and baking tasks as directed by the Chef or Cook
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Assist in catering events and special functions as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £6.00-£13.00 per hour
