Yard Worker

We are looking for a yard worker for an engineering firm on the outskirts of Colchester. If you have worked in a labouring or engineering environment before and are looking for a new role then please get in touch

The company manufacture a range of bespoke metal products, and are looking for a general labourer to help assist their busy team. If you have worked with steel or within a heavy lifting environment then this could be a great new role for you.

Starting rate will be circa £10ph, but will be based on previous experience within similar environments. Hours are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday.

Yard duties include:

- Unloading and moving steel
- General pair of hands to assist the fabricators
- Basic fitting, once trained
- Using hand and power tools as required

Due to the location of the role you will need to have your own transport or live locally to be suitable.
