Shunter

We are looking for a experienced HGV1 Shunter with Tug experience to start immediately on an ongoing basis.

WPRG are acting as an employment business in regards to this role in Forest Gate, London.
- Responsible for movement of vehicles in the yard
- Pick up and set down of laden and un-laden trailers on and off loading bays
- Coupling and uncoupling of unit using Salvo procedure.
- Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and site requirements.
- Ensure all daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and associated paperwork completed.
- Unloading of basket deliveries and re arrange them in the basket wash area.
- Support the basket wash area to ensure continuous supply of basket for both lines.
- To ensure efficient turnaround of vehicles
- Liaise with Despatch to ensure smooth and efficient loading/unloading of trailers.
- General warehouse duties
- Ensures housekeeping standards are maintained at all times

**Days/Hours**:

- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Night Shift starting at 18:00pm - 06:00am
- Shifts are 12 hours long

**Pay Rates**:

- Monday - Friday £21.88ph
- Saturday £22.53per hr
- Sunday £23.81per hr
- A valid CPC Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Tug/Shunting experience
- FLT Licence (desirable)
