**Our client is a leading developer, manufacturer & distributor of electrical & electronic devices for a variety of different sectors. They are a global business that serve over 500,000 customers worldwide.**

**As they continue to grow and develop, they are looking for dynamic engineering graduates that want to take a sales & business development route in their career, whilst being supported through a comprehensive training & learning programme.**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- You will start your career on a 4-8 week training programme, giving you all the product, technical knowledge skills & support to get out in the field to support customers
- The training programme is just the start, you will get continued sales support and learning development throughout your career
- This is a direct sales position, once trained will be delegated your own territory to cover in the UK
- Weekly structure, typically - 2 office days (Heathrow) & 3 field days out to customers in UK
- Will be tasked with finding and following up on business leads
- Scheduling new business opportunities
- Meeting with and demonstrating products to engineers, technicians, managers and directors in order to sell effective solutions
- Working in a fast-paced environment, where no 2 weeks are the same
- Be a key contributor in a dynamic and close-knit sales team

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Must be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions - company cannot sponsor Visa's
- Professional attitude - will be meeting with clients, so need to represent a professional brand
- Must be Degree educated - ideally 2:1 or higher in engineering discipline
- Ideally have some work experience through industrial placement year
- Desirable to have leadership qualities - for example a captain of a sports team
- Have a hunger to succeed and overachieve in a sales target focussed role
- Willing to learn - role requires the ability to learn and understand technical concepts
- Must be highly organised
- Confident and effective communication skills
- Able to work independently, part of a team and be self-motivated
- Live within a 30-45 minute commute of the Heathrow area
