MS Specialist Nurse/Practitioner - Band 6 or 7 dependent on evidenced experience and competencies - 37.5 hours per week. Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dynamic nurse or therapist to join the Dorset Multiple Sclerosis Service as an MS Specialist Nurse/Practitioner, to cover maternity leave.
We are looking for a dedicated registered nurse or therapist with excellent communication skills and relevant experience to deliver high quality, specialist care to people with MS in the Dorset area, and be a part of our forward thinking service.
You will use your knowledge and skills to provide proactive management of people with MS from diagnosis onwards, offering specialist assessment, intervention, monitoring and support to patients and their families. You will work within the hospital and community settings.
We are committed to continuous professional development and offer on-going training within the MS Service.
Car driver essential.
