The Content Marketing Consultant will provide immediate support in building and executing a robust content marketing strategy aimed at increasing brand visibility and recognition in the Defence and National Security industry. This role will focus on creating high-quality content tailored for upcoming events, including case studies, whitepapers, pitch decks and flyers.

**Key areas of responsibility**:
As Rowden’s Content Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for:

- **Content strategy development**:

- Develop a comprehensive content marketing plan aligned with the company’s objectives and event calendar.
- Identify key messaging and content themes to highlight Rowden’s offerings and capabilities.
- **Competitor analysis**:

- Conduct ongoing research and analysis of competitors’ content strategies and industry trends to inform and adjust the content marketing strategy.
- **Content creation**:

- Maintain and manage a detailed content calendar to ensure timely production and distribution of content aligned with the overall strategy.
- Produce engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, LinkedIn posts, pitch decks and flyers.
- **Event support**:

- Create promotional materials and content specifically designed for upcoming Defence and National Security industry events, such as flyers, posters, brochures etc., to increase brand recognition among target audiences.
- Ensure all event-related content is consistent with Rowden’s tone of voice, brand positioning and messaging.
- **Customer testimonials and success stories**:

- Collect and highlight customer testimonials and success stories to build credibility and demonstrate the impact of the company’s solutions.
- **Digital marketing**:

- Optimise content for SEO to improve online visibility and search rankings.
- **Performance analysis**:

- Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Provide reports and insights to stakeholders, recommending adjustments as needed.

**Key skills, experience and behaviours**:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and who actively invests in their technical skills and abilities. You’ll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:
**Skills**
- Ability to convey complex technical ideas in a clear and compelling narrative without losing accuracy.
- Familiarity with the Defence industry’s terminology and technologies is a plus.
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant information and insights from various sources, ensuring content is well-informed and credible.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas that stand out in the Defence and National Security industry.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in content marketing, preferably within the Defence or National Security industry or a related sector.
- Track record of developing and executing successful content strategies aligned with business goals.
- Experience in creating impactful material and content for events and promotional campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing techniques.

- Keen eye for detail to ensure content accuracy, coherence, and consistency with Rowden’s brand voice and messaging.
