**Your new company**

This is a growing, multi-practice law firm, based in Lancashire that are going through an exciting time of expansion due to an increasing workload and onboarding of new clients. The firm operate in a range of personal legal services, including crime, family, and wills and probate
Your new role
As a family paralegal, you will be required to assist solicitors, fee earners and partners within the firm on a range of family law matters. Your typical roles and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

- To work closely with partners and lawyers of the firm to handle family law cases.
- To undertake research relating to family law in order to provide advice.
- To prepare important legal bundles for court and attend when necessary.
- To build and maintain positive relationships with the firm's clients and be a good point of contact.

**What you'll need to succeed**

This position is ideal for someone who has gained some legal experience and is looking to move into family law with the aim of qualifying as a family solicitor. Having spent time with family law/legal aid in the past would be beneficial. Having the LLB degree with a minimum 2:1 grade is essential, and the LPC would be preferred.
