Consultant Neurologist

Our expanding service needs a new Consultant Neurologist (10 PAs). This post will be based mainly at Maidstone Hospital, but some working at Tunbridge Wells Hospital may be necessary if there is clinical need. There are SPA sessions at King's College Hospital. King's College neuroscience is ranked 5th best in Europe by _US News _. There is no on-call.

This new post, in response to rising demand, will make a total of seven Consultant Neurologists at the Trust. The neurology department has two additional locum consultants working towards CESR, one registrar, a neuroradiologist and two shared IMT3 doctors. Other services at Maidstone Hospital include the regional hyperacute stroke unit (but this post has no commitment to cover stroke), acute medicine, neuro-ophthalmology and neuro-oncology.
