Recognised around the world as the Home of Golf, St Andrews Links is home to the world’s most famous Links; the Old Course; six other award winning courses, a state of the art Golf Academy, three Clubhouses and five retail stores.
- Liaising with the relevant team members within retail to create design themes and plans, often months in advance, including window and in-store displays and signage.
- Conducting research on current and future trends in the golf and fashion sectors to assist in the planning for the stores.
- Regular meetings with the Shops Managers and Buying Team to discuss sales strategies.
- Identifying and sourcing props that will assist in the promotion of collections in store through merchandising and displays.
- Maintaining good communications with all areas of the retail business and provide guidance to the shop teams on Visual Merchandising and Stock control.
- Assist in the introduction of new and current collections in store by liaising and confirming timescales with the Shops Managers, Warehouse team, and Buying team.
- Working on a daily basis to assess, maintain and improve all areas of merchandising in store.
- Receiving feedback from the Shops Managers on the visual impact of displays and implementing changes where required.
