**Role Overview**

We’re delighted to be recruiting a Trainee Payroll Assistant to join the Payroll Team, completing a ‘Level 3 Payroll Administrator (CIPP)’ Apprenticeship.

The Payroll Function is responsible for delivering high quality payroll and data services and support to managers, external clients and employees.

You’ll receive ongoing support and mentoring from your team and our learning provider.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Support a variety of payroll transactions using various payroll systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
- Provide high-quality customer support.
- Support process improvement activities.
- Resolve and deal effectively with day-to-day customer enquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection associated guidelines.
- No payroll experience is required, but some knowledge or interest in payroll is desired.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Customer services skills
- Organisational skills
- IT skills
- Able to use initiative and work independently.
