**Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?**

Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy in Wakefield with his complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a young boy who lives with his loving family and friendly pets in Wakefield.

He loves lots of interaction and cuddles from his family and care team, he enjoys watching his favourite cartoons including Teletubbies and Bing and exploring with his sensory toys.

During the night you will be responsible for attending to his clinical care needs, keeping close observations, regular repositioning, offering reassurance and promoting a restful environment. In the morning when he does wake you will be required to support him with washing and dressing ready for his day ahead.

Previous experience working within a complex care setting is desirable, but not essential as we will offer complex care training to support your transition into your new role.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months of previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Desirable Experience**
- Previous experience supporting children within a complex care setting
- Gastrostomy Care (Peg feeding)
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation Management

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights available 2 shifts per week
- 10pm-8am

**Take a look at our pay rates**
- Weeknights: £12.25 per hour (Approx. £122.50 per 10-hour shift
- Weekends: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
- Bank Holidays: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £155 per 10-hour shift)
