We are thrilled to be working with our client to find a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their finance team based in their Leeds head office. This role will ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger team and is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, leading business. The role offers a competitive salary plus a range of benefits including free parking. Responsibilities will include:

- Managing a small team of Purchase Ledger Clerks to ensure efficient running of the purchase ledger team
- Responsibility for your own section of the ledger
- Overseeing payment runs
- Handling queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with month end and ad hoc reporting as required
- Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Deputising for the Purchase Ledger Manager when required.

The role will suit an experienced Purchase Ledger professional with the following skills and experience:

- Very strong all-round purchase ledger skills and experience
- Already working in a supervisory role, or a highly experienced and talented senior purchase ledger clerk looking for the next step in their career
- Committed to the development of others
- An excellent team player, able to support and motivate others
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- IT confident, good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills, accurate with a keen attention to detail
- Organised, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
