CGD Europe, an independent, non-partisan research organization in London, is undertaking research on a range of relevant high impact global health policy areas over the next 12 months, such as a new health financing compact between donors and recipient countries, evidence based priority setting of health services in India, open access publishing reform and policy proposals for the next UK government.

**Duties include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- Collaborating with senior staff to draft blog posts, policy briefs, notes, and reports
- Undertaking short and discrete research projects. Research questions will arise though out the course of the grants, but could entail analyzing data, interviewing experts, reviewing literature or writing up research.
- Liaising with people across CGDE and external partners, which will include working with senior researchers as well as CGDE’s admin and operational staff.
- Work collaboratively with CGDE staff, Non-Resident Fellow and other external project team members on research and publications.
- Organise and/or attend relevant internal and external meetings, roundtables, and events related to the project research priorities.
- Supporting day-to-day grant and project management, tracking results, reporting, and general administration

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical, writing and communications skills
- Some related work experience, such as working with policy makers or supporting academic research (internship experience counts)
- Intrinsically motivated to learn and grow
- Willingness to pitch in wherever needed, including administrative tasks

**Desirable skills and Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in global health, public health, health economics or related degree
- Writing experience, including blogs, student newspapers, journal articles, or academic outputs
- Experience organising meetings and events
- Experience undertaking literature reviews
- Experience of working with or for global health agencies
- Foreign languages
- Proficient use of excel
- Quantitative analysis skills and experience using data visualization tools/techniques experience with Stata, R, Python
