**About us**

We are the UK division of a global logistics company, headquartered in Italy. We are seeking an experienced individual to join and strengthen our Finance team in Tilbury on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer credit data and financial statements to determine creditworthiness
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to address customer inquiries and resolve disputes
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status in accounting software
- Bank account reconciliations and allocation of payments to relevant customer account/invoices
- Prepare and send out monthly statements and reminders to customers

Qualifications: - Previous experience in credit control or a related field, preferably in the logistics industry
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflicts
- Proficient in using accounting software for data entry and account management
- Detail-oriented. Above average Excel and office package knowledge.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
