**The Opportunity**:
This post is located within the User Support Unit of the Computing team. The User Support Unit provides a front-line IT support service to all staff, students and visitors within the School which includes a procurement service.

This is a 12 week internship post and is available from 3rd June 2024. This post is full-time (35 hours per week), working onsite, based in Appleton Tower.

Employ.ed on Campus is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools. It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:
**Essential**:

- A current 2nd, 3rd or penultimate year undergraduate Edinburgh University Student.
- Familiarity with DICE.
- Familiarity with computing hardware.
- Knowledge of either Windows, Mac or Linux

**Desirable**:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety work issues associated with the working environment.
