The Just Recruitment Group is currently looking to recruit a HGV Driver, on behalf of a client based in Saxham, Suffolk.
About the role: Supporting operations & customers with the transportation of customers goods
Tasks Include:

- Assisting in loading goods.
- Making sure the loads are safe & secure.
- Travelling to destination in a timely manner.
- Reaching destination at given delivery times.
- Driving within WTD & driving hours regulations.
- Supporting other members of staff in the operation.
- Open communication regarding waiting time, loading or unloading issues.
- Utilising Transport Management system to record activities where necessary.
- Daily walk around checks.
- Reporting all damages, breakages, issues and H&S near misses or accidents.
- Maintain good relationships with all customers, suppliers, working efficiently together.
- Be aware of scheduling and be up front at earliest opportunity if deadlines won't be met.
- Working within the transport team to support customers and the operations team.
- Working efficiently and flexibly to meet the requirements of a multitude of customers.
Qualifications and Skills Required:

- HGV class 1 licence (CAT C+E)
- Drivers CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- An in-depth Knowledge of Drivers Hours Regulations, and Working Time Directive
- Excellent geographical knowledge
