**THE COMPANY**
Established in 1989, with five regional depots in the UK Taylor Construction Plant Ltd is a respected plant-hire supplier to a variety of industry sectors such as construction, rail & events. To complement their traditional range of lighting and compaction equipment, TCP is at the leading edge of the development of off-grid power solutions including power and charging solutions for battery powered equipment.
**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Code and enter purchase invoices into Syrinx and Sage 200 software packages
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
- Supplier query resolution
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly payment runs including BACS and foreign currency payments
- Daily bank reconciliations (GBP, EUR & USD)
- Process company credit card expenses and other staff expense claims
- Provide effective support to other departments
- Pro-actively evaluate departmental procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
- Provide cover for colleagues to ensure smooth running of the finance team
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong team-player
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage
- Excellent time-management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to build effective working relationships both externally and within TCP
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
