**People Services Specialist**

We are recruiting for a People Services Specialist to join our Tamworth based client. You will be part of a team of 5, reporting to the HR Manager. Your role will be responsible for the company payroll function and act as the main point of contact for outsourced payroll provider as well as employees on all payroll related matters. This role will also carry responsibility for employee welfare.

**As a People Services Specialist you will need to have/be**:

**Details**:

- **Salary**: £24, 000 - £28, 000 + £1, 610 lunch allowance (in addition to basic salary)
- **Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm
- **Location**: Tamworth
- **Duration**: Permanent

**Role of People Services Specialist**:

- Process the organisation's payroll accurately and on time by working with outsourced payroll supplier.
- Prepare the monthly payroll, conduct the necessary processes for payment of the various components of salary, overtime, calculation of payments related to leavers and starters etc.
- Maintain employee payroll records to ensure maximum accuracy and security.
- Handle confidential information and maintain the security records and files.
- Ensure processes are in line with HMRC guidelines and company policies, whilst managing and following strict deadlines.
- Develop relationships with employees, ensuring effective communication with the wider offices, HMRC and other third-party providers.
- To manage the business annual insurance policy renewals, ensuring Company meets legal requirements.
- Responsible for the administration of Employee benefits packages such as lunch allowance, PMI, GIP, travel insurance, enrolling new joiners, ensuring compliance and manage the annual renewals process.
- Support invoice booking on to the system (SAP), assist the Manager with budget control.
- Assist with administration of bid paperwork.
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.

**Benefits of working as a People Services Specialist**:
