We are currently recruiting for Farm assistant's for our client in **Ashbourne. **We are looking for hard working reliable people to start immediately.

**Pay rate**:£11.00 per hour

**Shift Pattern**:You will be required to work 40 hours a week spread across 5 days. There is a potential you will be required 6 days a week so you must be flexible

**Your role**:
Whilst providing assistance and support to farm management across a wide variety of farming activity, this Farm Assistant role is very much a ‘first step’ in a career in agriculture. They will assist the Farm Management Team and learn all aspects of the management of a Broiler farm, including all facets of husbandry, ensuring that stock produced is of the highest possible standard and meets the required specifications in terms of weight and quality. To ‘live’ welfare as a condition with the opportunity to grow and develop via our bespoke Agriculture Academy.

**What you’ll need**:

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- A keen interest in farming where animal welfare is of the upmost importance
- Desire to work ‘hands on’ in a farming environment
- To be reliable and flexible
- A passion for learning
- Willing to undertake mandatory training including Level 1 & 2 Poultry Passport

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
