Vehicle Prepper

Perfect Vehicle Preparation are looking for a Vehicle Prepper to join our team based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is 45 hours per week at an hourly rate of £16.

This role will be a key part of the vehicle cosmetic rectification process, working to a defined customer standard with the skills required to fulfil all aspects of the role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To carry the preparation of panels and bodywork paintwork to a high standard for cars that are to be resprayed.
- Knowledge of all necessary techniques associated with body work repair including panel repair and paint preparation.
- Polishing, removing damaged panels, flat polish on newly and old painted vehicles, trim removal and refit.
- Re-work vehicles when instructed following further identified needs after inspection.
- Masking off the parts of the vehicle not being painted, prepare vehicles in readiness for spraying.
- Ensuring all relevant system / paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Understands the needs of both customers and the company and demonstrates this in their work.
- Takes ownership of all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self-management.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Able to work as a team, and support and assist colleagues.
- You may be required to undertake other duties to meet business requirements and setting, including working alongside other departments.
- Comply with all Health and Safety instructions and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others who may be working or entering the work area and report all hazards to your line manager.
