**Summary**

I am excited to be representing a dynamic and forward thinking fitness company based in Oldham that are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monthly intercompany reconciliations.
- Overseeing Daily Cashflow preparation and analysis.
- Preparing the monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
- Keeping track of all daily transactions for our UK operations.
- Processing and managing the accounts receivable ledger.
- Processing and managing the accounts payable ledger.
- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts as required.
- Preparing bank reconciliations, processing transfers/sales invoices, payments to suppliers.
- Managing expenses and corporate card transactions.
- Supporting the wider international business from an accounting perspective.
- Aiding in the implementation and review of financial processes.
- Supporting with daily and weekly operations reports.
- Liaising with external Finance and HR teams for Tax submissions, Statutory account preparation and monthly payroll preparation/queries.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by, Group Financial Controller and Management Accountants.

**Requirements**:

- Strong, demonstrable working knowledge of transactional finance
- Able to work independently and within tight timelines
- Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products especially excel.
- Experience in various accountancy software
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Honest and reliable
- Strong attention to detail
- Good team player and positive attitude
