Insolvency Investigator

Purnells Insolvency Practitioners are looking for a hard-working person, who is both thorough and has practical common sense to join their team as an Insolvency Investigator.

Applicants must hold either their Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (or be partly or fully AAT/ACCA qualified and must have good levels of numeracy and literacy. However, applicants who are qualified by experience from either an accounting, insolvency or legal background, will also be considered.

The job role will require the applicant to manage their caseload under the supervision of the appointed Insolvency Practitioner. They will be responsible for obtaining company records, undertaking an investigation on a wide range of insolvency cases, with a view to progressing those investigations to a conclusion and/or instructing solicitors to seek advice and potentially initiating legal proceedings.
