Assistant AR Manager with payment allocation and invoicing, responsible for the overall quality of e-commerce transaction accounting, retail sales accounting and all store cash procedures. First point of contact with store managers, customer service, system owners and the global omnichannel team.

**Overall Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Assist AR with payment allocation and invoicing
- Secure retail processes are in line with external - as well as internal audit processes
- Implement processes where needed that reflects auditors demands, externally as well as internally
- Daily E-com and Retail payment reconciliation. Investigation of differences that arise in consultation with the systems owner, customer service and store staff.
- Gift card process
- Supporting retail stores and e-commerce customer service.
- Reconciliation of gift cards, bonus checks and programs, petty cash.
- Tracking store cash balances and investigating differences
- Managing the retail store inventory balances and the associated stock take procedures.
- Close contact with Ayden (POS system)
- Ownership of selected balance sheet accounts and the associated reconciliations
- Finance assistance with store openings and closures

**Cross Department Collaboration**:

- Close work with the AR Manager
- Close work with the e-commerce and retail teams to investigate customer matters and support with information/analysis as and when required
- Collaboration with the system owners to investigate delivery shortages and requesting documents for the year end audit
- Close cooperation with the Finance Process Manager and the Nordics GL Accountant in order to find efficient ways of working.

**Prerequisites**:

- ** Knowledge of** - Accounting, Financial analysis, GAAP and Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
- University degree within accounting and/or finance.
- 2-4 years of experience in auditing, accounting or finance, preferably within a retail business.
- Experience in SAP is desirable
- Written and spoken in** **English
- Organized, structured and detail oriented. Be proactive, able to generate new ideas and suggest more efficient ways of working.
- Strong communication skills - Be confident talking to internal staff.
- Ability to work to monthly deadlines in a dynamic and sometimes high pressure environment Be quickly able to identify accounting problems and propose solution
- Team player
- Positive, communicative and flexible with strong integrity and have the ability to understand the impact of their work on the finance team and the business as a whole.
- Good decision-making ability, as well as being able to plan and prioritize
