MAN Commercial are currently recruiting for a full time **relief security officer** to work across our sites in Solihull, Birmingham and surrounding areas.

- MAN Commercial are a family run business, this year celebrating our 30th year With our Head Office based in Solihull, West Midlands, we employ Security Officers throughout the whole of the UK and specialise in security guarding, door supervision, CCTV and keyholding services._

The role will involve working both 12 & 8 hour shifts averaging 40 - 60 hours per week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Managing a Reception areas with a friendly and professional approach
- Managing gatehouse duties
- Managing building / site access control for employees, visitors and contractors.
- Responding to customer requests and queries
- Good telephone manner
- Ensuring that the client's requirements are met
- Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner
- Fire, security and building systems monitoring.
- Check alarms and log information
- Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies
- Patrolling of premises to include safety /fire door checks
- Monitor internal CCTV systems as required
- Maintaining records including incident reports using computer
- and paper-based systems. The ability to work independently
- Applicants must be SIA badged._
- Applicants must be smart in appearance with a professional attitude, have excellent customer service skills, excellent punctuality & attendance, be observant, able to complete comprehensive incident reports, and have a drive to ensure the job is completed to the highest standards_
