**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation located in Leeds. They have a sizeable team dedicated to providing outstanding services in the housing sector. The organisation prides itself on creating positive impacts on communities and individuals alike. They are actively looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team for a short term, temporary contract.
- Processing payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure payroll records are accurate.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries.
- Preparing and submitting reports on payroll activities.
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of employee information.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Payroll Officer should have:

- A history of working in the NFP sector
- A strong understanding of payroll processes and systems.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data.
