**Textile Lockstitch Machinist**

The role is within the Auto-Trim division of Swann Systems (UK) Ltd and will predominately involve the sewing of cut fabric or leather panels through to completion, working closely with our design team to create the finished product. The work is varied handling all types of materials including leather, vinyl, PU nylon, PVCs and woven fabrics. We expect keen attention to detail and quality. We supply a large variety of cut and sewn products to the automotive, aviation and motorsport industries. The work is varied and involves close consultation with both cutters and fitters to ensure we deliver the quality of product our customers expect.

Whilst being proficient with an industrial lock-stitch machine, experience with other machines like overlocks, binders or twin-needle machines would be an advantage.

Training on any specialist skills will be provided however a core competence working with a lockstitch machine is essential.

Salary from £9.50 to £11.50 per hour depending on experience plus pension.

8.00 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday

8.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday
