**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and implement a variety of recreational activities for residents
- Develop and coordinate programs that cater to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our elderly residents
- Collaborate with staff to integrate activities into the overall care plan
- Maintain activity attendance records and resident participation levels
- Ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of individuals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding upcoming events and programs

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within assisted living, senior care, dementia care, or nursing home settings is preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents and their families
- Creativity in designing engaging activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
