Domestic Supervisor

**Head Housekeeper - Pitchcombe Stroud - 36 Hours per week**

Lilian Faithfull Care is a well-established charity based in Gloucestershire that provides care, support and a home for Life for the elderly.

We are looking for a Head Housekeeper for our Nursing Home - Resthaven in Pitchcome.

Rates will depend on experience - £11.72 would be starting point, £12.72 for all weekend hours worked.

**The hourly rate includes a £1 enhancement to reflect the Rural location of the home.**

**Responsibilities of a Head Housekeeper**
- To assist the manager in the housekeeping aspects of the home. Ensuring that we promote a clean and caring environment providing the highest standards of quality care in accordance with the Charity’s policies, the Care Standards Act and CQC.
- Leading and working as part of a team to produce and clean a hygienic, safe and pleasant environment in which our residents live and people work
- Assist the domestic team to work on a hands on basis, if necessary, when shifts are short, peak workloads and observing new appointees

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of leading a team in a similar environment would be beneficial
- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment, to help people retain their dignity and respect their privacy.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Work well in a team.
- Are flexible as shifts will include weekends evenings on a rota basis.
