An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an incredibly successful family run business in a rural location between Buckingham and Milton Keynes as a Warehouse Co-Ordinator. Attending events and offering the highest levels of customer service this company are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking addition to their team. This position will consist of 37.5 hours per week, 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday but may require flexibility with start and finish times and occasional weekends when required. During the probationary period you will be required to attend events to develop full understanding of the role.

Duties of the role:

- Ensure tasks such as safe storage, cleaning and maintenance are correctly completed.
- Clean and sort and organise equipment, making sure all equipment is cleaned and returned to the correct place when brought back to the warehouse.
- Re-organise and sort equipment as requested.
- Test equipment and complete any required maintenance, using equipment monitor logs to promptly act on any noted damages.
- Support the company with developing a system for storage and retrieval of equipment.
- Complete basic DIY such as painting, sanding, cutting wood.
- Work with electrical items to charging equipment, replace batteries, sync game handsets and connect audio equipment or gaming devices to televisions.
- Launder company uniforms and soft material equipment, before putting away in the correct location.
- Maintain inventories using basic word processing and a data base.
- Prepare and gather equipment following a provided list, to include assembly or de-rigging.
- Follow all polices and health and safety procedures.
- Keep up to date logs for damages, repairs and cleaning.
- Given authorisation, dispose of any equipment beyond repair.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained, requesting equipment to be ordered as necessary.
- Keep the warehouse tidy and clean.

You must:

- Have previous experience working within a warehouse environment or equivalent, having maintained equipment.
- Undergo an enhanced DBS check due to the nature of the business.
- Be able to complete basic DIY.
- Display strong computer literacy, being able to use Microsoft Office, and handle electronic data. Experience with an Apple Mac is preferred.
- Take responsibility for your work and be able to use your own initiative to complete tasks.
- Offer full flexibility with working hours to support company needs.
- Be able to complete heavy lifting up to 22kg and stand for extended time periods.
- Hold a full UK driver’s licence and have access to your own transport.
