**Role:Steel Fabricator/welder (On-site)**

**Salary: £32,853**

**Location: Rotherham**

**Hours: 39 contracted + overtime (Including some evenings and weekends)**

Due to growth, we are recruiting for an on-site fabricator on behalf of our clients who are one of the UK’s leading designers and engineers of bespoke materials handling, conveying and industrial equipment. The role will be based on our clients sites, whichcan be anywhere in the UK and therefore requires overnight stays, including some weekend and night shifts.

This is a varied role that includes:

- On site fabrication/welding
- Materials handling
- Work within a team to work to tight deadlines
- Working with medium to heavy steel work
- Underground work when required
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Maintenance work
- Complete tasks according to drawings, risk assessments and method statements
- Report any non-conformances to site manager

Experience required:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Steel works/mining)
- Level 2 NVQ**Diploma in Fabrication and Welding** or similar
- Structural steel experience
- advantageous
