**Responsibilities**:

- To be the main point of contact for drivers, dealing with; work instructions, re-load details, operational issues i.e., breakdowns, rejections, traffic delays etc.
- Responding to and dealing with the above in a timely manner in order to reduce driver downtime
- Responsible for the distribution of company comms to drivers eg. wage slips, letters, holiday cards etc.
- Responsible for ensuring the plan is executed and any unavoidable deviation from the plan is executed in the most cost effective way possible whilst ensuring customer service has mínimal disruption.
- Ensure all decisions are made in line with Transport Legislation, EU Regulations and the Working Time Directive
- Carry out fleet status checks as and when required throughout the day
- Highlighting and communicating late running vehicles to the Traffic support team
- Own the nights handover process and distribute to relevant parties as necessary
- Update ETA’s for any inbound vehicles to ensure core systems and visibility to other departments is accurate
- Maintaining and updating all relevant systems as and when required
- Responsible for the analysis and corrective action on specific KPI’s as set by the Transport Planning Manager
- Working closely with the Transport Management team to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring effective communication both internally and externally
