Restaurant Supervisor (Part time, 20 hours)

Predominantly based at Huddersfield but able to travel to other sites if required.
- Permanent contract, 20 hours per week ,52 weeks per year
- Salary - £13,622 - £14,422(based on full time salary £25,201 - £26,681)

- Working hours are generally between 8am and 2pm; this may vary on occasion, must be available for Thursday evenings when required.

In the role of Restaurant Supervisor, you will be based in Landings 72, the restaurant and coffee shop at our main Huddersfield site (click to view details on our website). You will provide a professional and friendly welcome to staff, students and visitors. You will supervise students and coaching them in their roles within the coffee shop and restaurant. Attention to detail is necessary for the role, ensuring high standards are met.

Your key responsibilities will be to, provide high-quality customer service, prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks/snacks, keep the restaurant in a clean and acceptable condition, accept deliveries, monitor stock levels, and handle cash and card payments as well as completing end of day reports.

Ideally, you’ll have a current Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and Level 3 Certificate in Hospitality and Catreing, and demonstrable experience in customer service, hygiene, and providing instruction. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively with staff and students alike, engage easily with our students and be able to clearly demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
