**A Snapshot of your day**

Sets and/or implements Supplier QM related strategy and policies, and ensures implementation of related guidelines, methods and tools, for all assigned organization units.

The Prime function of the role is to maintain Quality of Components/Products/Paperwork and their records as indicated within the IMS and Customer requirements.

**What are my responsibilities?**
- Analyzes and contributes to quality in technical processes, in innovation, logistics and/or production, aligned with agreed quality guidelines.
- Analyzes all quality related issues in all steps of the technical steps. Identifies quality trend data.
- Devises sampling procedures, and develops systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Completes and maintains quality inspection and audits programs.
- Advices process and quality owner, recommends measures (incl. shipment halt decisions).
- Carries out quality improvement projects; plans targets, milestones, budgets and resources, sets up and monitors project progress, and approves results.
- Communicates with specialized external and internal partners.
- Trains staff in all Quality related issues and processes.
- Review and Inspection of Products, Paperwork and/or Components to ensure compliance with appropriate Specification, Customer requirement and QMS controls.
- Help Maintain Company traceability requirements by accurate maintenance of QC records
- Liaise with Customer and Supplier representatives both on and off site in a positive and productive manner to ensure Customer satisfaction at all times.
- Assist and Deputise for Supervisor in the performance of his/her duties and provide cover due to absence as required
- Ensure all duties are performed in a professional, safe and cost effective manner

- Takes part in business improvement activities, as assigned.
- Contribute to the deployment of strategic tasks and projects, as assigned.
- Adhere to relevant processes.
- Identify process errors and process improvement opportunities to management.
- Identify potential quality issues or improvements to management.
- Adhere to safety processes and guidance at all times. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in regard to safety.

**Your Profile**

Essential

VQC
- Engineering Apprenticeship with minimum NVQ level 3 in related discipline
- Good experience with using metrology equipment such as Micrometers (various types), Verniers, Gauges etc.

CQC
- Good Product/Process knowledge and NVQ level 3 in related discipline
- Good understanding and minimum 3 years experience working within IMS

Desirable
- Knowledge of operating to ERP system, preferably SAP
- Business improvement techniques.
- Previous H & S / Compliance training
- VQC - CMM and OMM operation and programming experience
- CQC - Good working knowledge of Siemens connectors Product build and testing processes

Optional
- Knowledge of SPC
- Quality related qualification NVQ level 2 or above
