Our client, an innovative manufacturer based in Wokingham, are seeking an experienced of a Telemarketer to join their busy and dynamic BD and Marketing team to support with generating, following up and converting leads within a new sector.
Initially on a 12 month contract, you will be part of an ambitious, fast growing company who are focussed on career development and reward initiatives that support employee wellbeing and engagement.
**What you will be doing**:
- Qualifying inbound leads, converting them from marketing qualified to sales qualified
- Following up on leads from specific campaigns, such as events and exhibitions or sponsored social lead generation
- Targeting prospects within specified customer and/or industry sectors
- Initial meetings with prospects, via Teams or telephone, to qualify their requirements through a solutions based approach
- Setting up new customer accounts (where applicable)
- Initial and refresher product training with resellers
- Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this newly created role is initially offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the intention that the role will become permanent and possibly expand if success is demonstrated.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong rapport and relationship
- Previous experience in BD, converting leads to sales
- A quick leaner who can get to grips with the industry, products and proposition of the business rapidly
- The ability to self-start and remain motivated to deliver optimal results is key to this role
- Results-orientated and accountable for achieving measurable targets
This is a full time position, initially office based with potential for flexible working after training. The office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.45am to 5pm
