Hospices of Hope has an opportunity for a Driver(s) based from our warehouse in Hadlow, near Tonbridge, Kent.

Often seen as the representative face of the charity, the role of the Driver is a mix of logistics, which incorporates deliveries and collections from donors, whilst supporting the retail charity shop management team.

Logistics:

- To plan and implement collection and delivery of furniture from donors and to customers
- Safely **moving furniture and heavy goods** in and out of customer and retail premises, taking care to cause no damage or injury
- To be responsible for the preventative maintenance and security of the vehicle, including refuelling, cleaniless and the recording and reporting of maintenance needs
- To keep a full and comprehensive log of all van activities and fuel consumption
- Work closely with the store managers, plan and undertake timely, efficient and legal disposal of unsaleable donations
- To move stock between shops as required

**Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of Google Docs (desirable)
- Strong Customer Service
- Is a self starter with a can do mentality
- A real concern for order and quality

**Experience**:

- Van driver: 1 year (required)
- Full UK drivers licence - clean (required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

We are looking to recruit 1 x driver for 4 days a week or 2 x drivers each working 2 days a week

Applicants must be over the age of 25 years
