Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and process incoming stock, including verifying received items and tracking them in the inventory system
- Pick and fill orders from stock accurately and efficiently
- Pack and ship orders, ensuring they are properly labeled and packaged to prevent damage
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed
- Use various IT systems to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

**Requirements**:

- GCSE's or Equivalent
- Warehouse experience (Preferred but not essential)
- Strong IT skills, including experience with inventory management systems and MS Office
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items

**Responsibilities**:

- Lift heavy objects.
- Carry boxes of varying sizes.
- Drive a forklift or other warehouse equipment.
- Receive deliveries and pick up supplies.
- Be able to communicate effectively with co-workers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
