Litigation Manager professional required by our client, a UK vehicle technology organisation, to oversee and implement strategy for the Debt Recovery team and reduce litigation costs. The role is a 9-Month Fixed Term Contract working remote with ad-hoc commutingrequired.
The successful Litigation Manager will have preferably a legal background with commercial exposure, or in Debt Recovery with a strong understanding of the court lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Manager**:
- Act as Line Manager for the Debt Recovery & Legal Teams, implementing strategy and personal development plans.
- Understand fully the court lifecycle, should cases be escalated.
- Oversee and ensure DSAR's are completed within regulatory timeframe.
- Support wider business by guiding department managers on compliance and regulatory matters.
**Skills and Experience of the Litigation Manager**:
- Experience within a litigation or compliance team.
- Managerial experience, leading 1-to-1's.
- Able to manage third party stakeholders such as solicitors and debt specialists.
- Working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of data protection and GDPR requirements.
