The Grange is a small 22 bedded Nursing Home in the beautiful Northumberland Village of Warkworth.

We have a small, friendly, dedicated team of employees who are committed in providing each of our Residents the best care possible.

Part time Hours; 24 -30 pw

Salary £10.90ph

**Main Duties**:
Plan, organise and promote suitable activities to engage and stimulate our residents.

Enhance the lives of our residents through in house activities and entertainment, sing-a
- longs, arts and crafts, social events, outings, exercise, nostalgia and reminiscence. Using sensory activity to help calm people living with dementia. Work as part of the care team, assisting with feeding people and other aspects of care if needed. liaising with nurse in charge & management.

Organise in house and other events such as Summer Fares, Christmas Parties, and Raffles.

Encourage our residents to participate in the daily activities.

Promote Independence and Dignity.

Completing a profile of each Service Users preferences to different activities and their individual abilities.

Ability to complete essential paperwork & adding onto electronic system

Any other duties that may be required for the role to enhance the quality of our residents.

Enthusiastic, proactive, creative and a warm approach to the role.

Able to Communicate, and engage effectively with our residents, their families and colleagues & visiting professionals & anyone who visits the home

Natural ability to make the lives of others more fulfilling.

Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial. However if you are someone who wants to put your people skills to use, and have a desire to work in an environment which can be challenging but also fun and rewarding then we would love to hear from you.

You will need to have or be willing to have an enhanced DBS.
