Breast Cancer Pathway Navigator

They will be part of the wider breast cancer service working closely with management, breast cancer clinicians, administrative team, and Cancer Services. From the point of patient referral onto the breast cancer pathway, this new role will ensure each patient is seen and treated within the timescales of national guidelines, providing coordinated and streamlined administrative need around the patient and their individual pathway needs. The post holder will organise and liaise with the clinical teams and Cancer Services to manage the planned checkpoints throughout a patients diagnostic pathway and support the clinical team, in ensuring the speciality is able to deliver timely, safe and effective services.
