Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist in delivering high-quality care. Your role will involve communicating with patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

**Duties**:

- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medication under the supervision of a healthcare professional
- Assist in the implementation of care plans for patients
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficient in using basic IT systems for documentation purposes
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Familiarity with working in a care home environment is an advantage
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 40 per week
