Taylor Blackwood Associates are recruiting an Assistant Planner for our client in the Stafford area.

Monday to Thursday

£11.85ph

38 hours per week

**Duties**:

- Develop and maintain production schedules and prioritize workload based on customer requirements, production capacity, and material availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, purchasing and quality.
- Coordinate with material planners to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods, taking into consideration lead times, safety stock, and production demand
- Review and adjust production schedules as necessary to accommodate unforeseen events such as equipment breakdowns, material shortages, or changing customer demand.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities in meeting tight deadlines and managing changing priorities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to unexpected changes in production requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in inventory control and forecasting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
